Back in 2018, director Evan Beloff released Kosher Love on CBC. It’s a film about Jewish singles searching for love, finding it, and the struggles that go along with it.
Fast-forward to 2021, director Evan Beloff is creating a new film, Return of the Love Rabbi, in which Rabbi Bernath (from the first movie) continues trying to find matches for singles, post-pandemic. You can read more about this new film here, or view the previous Kosher Love here.
We now have three couples that we are following: Faigie, Jonathan (you may recognize if you have seen the first film) and Rachel. We are looking for other singles to participate in the film, and to go on a real date with one of our singles. Please note that this is not a reality show, this is a real CBC-licensed documentary about the difficulty of finding love after a pandemic. We are looking for singles who don’t mind being filmed, interviewed, and (if you and one of our other singles agree to meet) having us follow along on a casual date, or two.
There is no obligation to find love, but you just might.
